Ipsos was known 20 years ago as a party resort, full of club 18-30’s holidays. It is still a very lively resort – the discos and bars remain. The far side of the beach near the harbour is quieter. In Ipsos you will find romantic couples, parents with teenagers – who prefer the busier bars and clubs on the other end of the beach! The beach stretches along the roadside and gently curves round at the harbour end. Ipsos is set against the dramatic backdrop of the hills of the North East of Corfu on the left and to your right across the sea to Corfu town. The road directly behind it is quite noisy displaying numerous tourist shops, mini-markets, bars, disco strip and cafes. The beach offers a perfect view to Mount Pantokrator. The picturesque fishing port that lies on the left side of the beach hosts several boats during the day. Ipsos  lies around the green crystalline bay where one will enjoy a fascinating swimming experience. The water is shallow thus quite safe for children. The beach offers some tourist facilities while you will definitely get the chance to practice your favourite water sports. The picturesque fishing port that lies on the left side of the beach hosts several boats during the day

Ipsos tends to attract young people due to its reputaion. Groups of friends and teenagers enjoy it here. Also the resort is starting to cater for families with teenage children. Many couples enjoy Ipsos as it is a resort with plenty of life, but the edges are the quieter parts, such as the harbour end and the village behind the main road.
